In the past few years, Trident Freight has dedicated it’s time to Brexit developments both in the UK and in Gibraltar leading to the implementation of new transport strategies.
These new strategies allowed us to provide an uninterrupted direct freight service throughout Brexit, as well as maintaining compliancy with Brexit and post-Brexit UK, EU and local legislation.
During the Brexit negotiations in Gibraltar, Trident proved to be the first point of contact for local Government regarding transport advice for Gibraltar goods and the first local logistics company to provide a unique RoRo service from Spain mainland to Gibraltar for lorries to be transported safely to final destination in preparation for a possible hard Brexit with closed land frontier.
Post Brexit, we have assisted and continue to assist many clients with the complexities surrounding transport from the UK to Gibraltar via the EU including customs clearance formalities at exit and entry points for a wide nature of goods.
